Minority report’s crime prediction is coming to ISNR 2018

Technology News

United Arab Emirates, 6 March 2018, (AETOSWire): This March 2018 Space Imaging Middle East (SIME) will be discussing the details and expertise behind creating the 1st of its kind crime prediction engine in the region, which is deployed and operational in Dubai Police Command and Control Center for over a year now.

Crime Prediction analyzes existing intelligence and crime patterns from police databases and, using sophisticated algorithms, produces highly accurate data related to when and where crime is likely to occur next. This intelligence, in turn, informs patrol teams on which districts may require additional resources in order to prevent potential criminal activity.

The crime prediction intelligent engine features system generated predictions & alerts, analysis of data & forecasts, prediction and prevention statistics, CCTV integration and resources utilization.

“Making the world more understandable brought us towards making it safer” Mr. Mohammed El Kadi, Managing Director of Space Imaging Middle East and European Space Imaging said.

He added “This revolutionary policing tool is designed specifically for this region with cultural synchronization aiming at making the UAE a better & safer place, we are confident that governments and security agencies will achieve higher understanding of crime patterns & mechanics which will result in global crime reduction over time once this crime prediction engine is incorporated”.

Having its roots back to 1997, SIME has been since leading the Satellite Imagery & GIS markets  in the Middle East with innovations such as GeoServ, GeoAxel & Analyst+ to name a few, and with the crime prediction 1st implementation for Dubai Police, SIME marks new heights of Geospatial systems, AI, big data integration & software engineering.

SIME will be present this March 2018 at ISNR in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to discuss the details of this pioneering solution at the Future of Policing Forum and will be holding a program simulation at stand 3210, hall 6 of the exhibition.
