City Centre Ajman continues to maintain customer experience and convenience and provide additional parking spaces to ensure no inconvenience is caused during the current redevelopment of the centre that will see the current number of parking spaces double from 1,600 to 3,200.
Currently expanding to increase the mall’s size from 29,000 to 52,000 square metres, City Centre Ajman provides temporary parking spaces located at the front and back of the mall and easily accessible via a new road.
This will ensure that the existing parking spaces are best managed and visitors to the mall are compensated for their inconvenience – through the temporary parking. Additionally a complimentary buggy service has been available to visitors to pick up and drop off at four different locations in the new parking areas. This service has been introduced to ease and improve customers’ experience from the moment they arrive at City Centre Ajman.
Additional porters at Carrefour are also available to assist in delivering groceries to the new parking areas as they take trolleys from the mall and deliver groceries and other shopping items straight into visitors’ cars. The porter service ensures that although the temporary parking situation may pose a slight delay in travelling time, customers are still offered a quality experience from the moment they enter until the end of their experience at the mall.
The new expansion and car park initiative at City Centre Ajman will feature the latest construction technology, to provide a sustainable and energy efficient building,150 retail and dining outlets, additional car parking bays, an expanded VOX Cinemas with innovative 4DX screens as well as specially-designed children’s theatres. The mall will also include ten diverse new food and beverage outlets with both al fresco and indoor seating.
The expanded design will be contemporary, spacious, and in line with Majid Al Futtaim’s sustainability strategy, the mall’s public facilities will be significantly enhanced, with additional prayer rooms and restrooms incorporating water-saving fittings, and LED lights installed throughout the mall.
Three entrances have been temporarily closed to facilitate the construction of an extended wing on City Centre Ajman however a temporary entrance has been constructed at the old location of Gate 2 at the mall. During this time, all management and staff at the mall are involved in addressing enhanced customer experiences that is a vital focal point for City Centre Ajman, and in line with Majid Al Futtaim’s vision to create great moments, for everyone, everyday.
City Centre Ajman continues to operate throughout the redevelopment of the mall and the mall’s expansion is anticipated to conclude in the third quarter of 2017, followed by an additional refurbishment of the existing mall.
