In October 2020, the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) won the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize. Maha Ahmed, deputy country director of WFP China, came to the forum and said that one of WFP's goals is to achieve the sustainable development goal of "zero hunger" worldwide by 2030.

The guests attending the forum expressed their recognition and appreciation of Nanjing's contribution to the cause of peace in recent years.
