His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai announced on Tuesday that he is taking the initiative to train 1 million Arabs youths in computer coding.

"Coding will create many job opportunities for young people to compete for remotely; it will pave the way for them to participate in the global economy online, from home," Sheikh Mohammed spoke at the launch of the project.

His objective is to educate them in computer coding so they will be able to handle their business on internet and will be able to contribute well to the global economy as it is the way of the future generations.

"We have incentives over $1million to award the top students and tutors. Many young Arabs have unstoppable potential; all they need is support. We hope this will be the first step in a journey that takes our region toward a brighter future," Sheikh Mohammad said.

He concluded his speech with, "We will not stop launching projects and initiatives to support our Arab communities because the stability of our region relies on it. MBRGI has launched over 1,400 projects and 33 institutions dedicated solely to spreading hope and building the future of the Arab world."
