Ajman’s pristine sandy beach, clear lagoons and natural mangroves are the perfect playground for holidaymakers of all ages with a wide range of watersports on offer.
Overlooking the 16-kilometre-long white-sand beach, Kempinski Hotel Ajman and Fairmont Ajman organise all manner of waterborne activities, including stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing, jetskiing, flyboarding, kayaking, banana boat rides and fishing trips.
At Al Zorah, a new development to the north of the city bordered by the Arabian Gulf, Ajman creek and a mangrove forest, visitors will soon be able to use the first of four marinas, followed by the beachfront Oberoi Al Zorah resort. A watersports centre is also planned, so visitors will be able to dive, sail, canoe, kayak or kite-surf in open waters or calmer creekside conditions.
